After Intuition moved downtown to Bay Street in 2016, we began talking about hosting concerts at the new brewery. Everyone knows that music and good beer are the perfect combination, and we had some extra space that needed to be put to good use. We invited our favorite bands to play at the brewery, and – to our surprise – many of them said yes!
After that initial success, we decided it was time to create a venue dedicated specifically to live music.
We annexed an additional 6,000 square feet of space in November 2019 and “The Bier Hall at Intuition” was born. It couldn’t have happened without the hard work and vision of our late friend, the legendary promoter Tib Miller.
One of Tib’s goals was to bring artists to Downtown Jacksonville who had never played in our city before. Recently, that list has included Kevin Morby, Fruit Bats, Mountain Goats, Steve Gunn, Mdou Moctar, and Deer Tick.
