In partnership with Flying Saucer Presents, we will be hosting our first-ever Springfest this May!
This OUTDOOR event will take place behind the brewery and along Forsyth Street.
Boston-based, retro-soul band Lake Street Dive will headline the first night, while iconic indie-rock pioneer Liz Phair will headline the second night.
Lake Street Dive was founded in 2004 and has released four studio albums. Their sound blends elements of pop, soul, disco, jazz, and rock and roll. The show at Intuition will be part of their national “Lounge Around Sounds Tour,” which is semi-acoustic revue of their 16-year catalog of songs featuring “deep cuts, works in progress, and fan favorites, all sung around a grand piano.”
Liz Phair is a Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter whose debut album, Exile In Guyville, is considered by music critics to be a landmark of indie rock. She has been a recording artist and touring performer for twenty-five years, and has paved the way for countless music artists who count her among their major influences.
Houston-based “Gulf Coast Soul” band The Suffers will open for Lake Street Dive. They have played at South By Southwest, the Newport Folk Festival, and the Afropunk Festival.
Indie-rock icon Juliana Hatfield will open for Liz Phair.
Local artists will be added to the Spring Festival lineup as well.
Tickets for each show are $35 and are available through Intuition’s website and 904TIX.com. Special VIP tickets are available for the Lake Street Dive show that include special access to a private, pre-show soundcheck and a small Q&A with the band.
